ABOUT ME

I have been teaching for 17 years.  I started my career in middle school, moving to elementary after the first two years.  This is my eleventh year teaching grade 4 and it is still my favourite grade!  I have been at Galbraith School for 14 years and it is an amazing place to call my home away from home.

Besides teaching, I love spending time with my husband and two kids; being outside hiking, walking my two basset hounds, and running; riding my bike; reading; loom knitting; dancing; watching movies; and superheroes! 

In this unprecedented time, I have learned so much!  Not just new technology and ways of teaching, but about myself as a teacher and a person.  I am always up for a challenge and am looking forward to the challenges and adventures this year will bring.
